Confirmation statement
The confirmation statement tells Companies House that your company information is up to date: registered office, directors, shareholders and people with significant control (PSCs), plus your business activity (SIC code).
- File at least once every 12 months; you have 14 days after the end of the review period.
- The online fee is currently £50 (check GOV.UK for the current fee).
- Directors and PSCs must verify their identity with Companies House.
- Report changes (directors, address, shareholders) separately – generally within 14 days.
It is completely separate from your annual accounts – you need both.
